Affiliation opens
Schools and private organisations affiliate for the coming year. Every affiliation includes one free e-syllabus and one free e-timetable — printed copies available on order.
The entry window
Online entry forms open on 2 February and close on 18 March. Late entries are accepted at the late-entry fee — submit early, submit once, submit well.
Syllabus & timetable land
The full e-syllabus and e-timetable are published — the timetable is also embedded in every syllabus category online. Teachers plan the season around it.
Performances & exhibitions
Choir festivals, the gala play festival, instrumental and vocal heats — while the art, ceramics and photography exhibitions open their doors to the public.
Prestige concerts & champions
The season closes with prestige concerts and the champions' final, where the year's best performances take the stage together — as the 2025 Junior Choir champions from Curro Durbanville did.

Primary and high-school choirs in friendly festival competition — the massed sound that defines the eisteddfod.
MayGala Play Festival
Drama groups bring short plays to the festival stage — sets, costumes and all.

An exhibition of the year's visual work — judged, hung and opened to the public.
Jul – AugPhotography Exhibition
The newest showcase — young photographers exhibit the images that earned their certificates.

Selected performers return to the stage for gala concerts — the festival's finest moments, gathered.
FinaleChampions' Final
The year's champions perform for the ultimate title, closing the season in celebration.
